“Fuck books. Who needs books when you have e-readers? Books are obsolete, and they smell terrible to boot,” Said Amazon’s CEO at a recent press conference, confirming the fears of dozens of people that Amazon will in fact be burning their entire stock of books, new and old, before buying out public libraries one by one and demolishing them.

“If people can’t afford e-readers, then they don’t deserve literacy anyways,” he was reported as saying as he ripped an original copy of Shakespeare’s First Folio in half.
